Sweet. I'd be happy to help with the testing of this if you can
convince people to provide builds of the ABIMATH branch (builds for
RedHat, Mandrake, but preferably windows).

i'd be interested to hear more, even being able to fire off an external
(xml) editor like gvim/conglomerate and have abiword react to the changes

That total is less than the price of the tickets I was looking at 3-4
weeks before the conference, so it seems like money well spent to me.
