    but my download of abiword is taking forever so im not sure if this was

    You could vote on the bug, or maybe try and encourage the developer who is
    working on it.

    Please add a comment to the bug saying what a pleading paper is and that
    Line Numbering is essential. (In fact if several lawyers all threw in $10
    I bet the developer(s) would add the feature very quickly. Just ask the
    developer who filed the report).
