Ok, this is assuming that you grabbed one of *our* release builds. If
you got AbiWord from Debian or somewhere else, you're probably basically
screwed over by them, so go complain to them.

    Go here:

    http://www.abisource.com/~fjf/

Go grab the swedish hash file (sv-SE, svenska.hash). You'll probably
want the little endian hash file.

    Install it in /$prefix/share/AbiSuite/dictionary

Now, if your text is marked as being in the sv-SE (swedish) locale, then
everything should be ok. Actually, Abi should start up in swedish by
    default for you, probably.

Anyway, if you install that file in the right place, everything should
work fine for you. If you got a build from Debian or somewhere else, it
isn't supported because they built it with their own patches supplied
and different compile-time options than we endorse.

How do you mark text in the swedish locale? Well, it should be done for
you by default, but if it is not:

    1) Select some text
    2) Tools->Language or <right-click>->Language
    3) Select Swedish from the list
    4) Hit "Ok"

Sorry, but if this doesn't work, we can't help you any further.

    Dom
