I have installed the static Linux/PPC version of abisuite-0.7.12. I am
able to start up abiword as root, but if I startup abiword at the prompt
as a non-root user I get the following:
gdk_imlib ERROR: gdk has not connected to the display
Gdk-CRITICAL **: file gdkwindow.c: line 1406 (gdk_window_get_visual):
assertion
`window != NULL' failed.
Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtkwidget.c: line 4254 (gtk_widget_push_visual):
assertion
`visual != NULL' failed.
Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtkwidget.c: line 4238 (gtk_widget_push_colormap):
asserti
on `cmap != NULL' failed.
/usr/local/bin/abiword: line 61: 1438 Segmentation fault (core
dumped) $AB
ISUITE_HOME/bin/AbiWord_s "$@"
The user can execute abiword. Any ideas what may causing these differences
for the non-root user?
Thanks.
