Bugzilla: Bug Closed--No Information

Sometimes we see Bugs where the reporter apparently assumes we are mind readers. We are, of course, but for some obscure reason, only sexual fantasies and pin codes carry properly through the ether. So when we get a Bug report in one of the below categories, we simply have to give up and close the Bug as INVALID. However, all is not lost: simply add the missing bit of information and reopen the Bug!

• _I have a document that fails to load / crashes AbiWord when I try to load it_: we will need the document to reproduce the problem (attach it to the Bug report). We realize that some documents cannot be disclosed for one reason or another, but if it is possible to send it to a single developer at least, please make a note of this in the Bug, and hopefully one of the developers will ask for it and look at the problem.

• _ crashed!_: yeah, it probably did. But if you cant tell us more, its really a useless piece of information. We need to know what you did, which version of you used, what operating system you use, etc. etc. Remember, only sexual fantasies and pin codes...
