Can I run AbiWord from a USB Stick?
Can I run AbiWord from a USB Stick? Or does it rely on Windows Registry entries?
OK, I have tested it myself and it does work from a USB stick. I installed to a PC, copied to a USB stick, uninstalled, then ran from the USB stick and it was OK.
Theres also a <a href="http://johnhaller.com/jh/useful_stuff/portable_abiword/">Portable AbiWord project</a>. Its also worth noting that AbiWord _will_ create registry entries when run from a USB device; see Bug 8312 for more information.
