The LoadBindings plugin can be used to specify the key and Mouse bindings of AbiWord. This allows the keybindings of applications that use libAbiWord to defined by programmers as they need. Keybinding collections are named and can be swapped in and out at will by passing the name of the binding collection to a plugin defined static function.
A sample keybindings desciption, that is close to the default AbiWord key and mouse bindings ExampleBinding is available here]. To load your own bindings, place a file named keybindings.xml in your AbiWord profile directory. On Linux this is ~/.AbiSuite/ . On Windows an AbiSuite directory can be found under your personal documents and settings folder.
