Bugzilla: Bug Closed -- Missing Dependency

AbiWord and plugins may require support software in various form - these are dependencies.

The onus is on the user of to make sure that these dependencies are fulfilled. Bugs that report problems caused by such missing dependencies will simply be closed.

Depending on the operating system used, failed dependencies may come in various forms:

  • On a Linux system the package management will complain at installation time.
  • A Windows system may cause run-time errors: see AbiWord For Windows for more help.
