If you happen to compile on Solaris and discover that no matter what you attempt to type in AbiWord nothing appears, try compiling and installing GNU libiconv-1.8 (or later). The Solaris-supplied iconv routines appear not to work with AbiWord.

If you happen to compile on Solaris and discover that no matter what you attempt to type in AbiWord nothing appears, try compiling and installing GNU libiconv-1.8 (or later). The Solaris-supplied iconv routines appear not to work with AbiWord.
