FAQ: Hints for Using AbiWord
_Just starting this page with a list of recommendations which I may flesh out here or link to another page._
Methods of Using AbiWord
- Select then apply
- Use Styles (and use the new "Lock Styles" feature to enforce the use of styles if appropriate)
- Use as a "plain" text editor to "view codes"
Applications for AbiWord
- Use to convert from uncommon formats to standard ones, i.e. from pdb to txt.
- Use to automate (script) common administrative tasks.
- Use for default editor and embedded previews (due to abis speed and flexibility).
