Application Form
The closing date for applications is May 8th, 2006. Students wishing to work on AbiWord over the 2006 Summer for $USD 4500.00 should first fill out the online form here:

Martin, uwog, dom, Tomas and hub have offered to be mentors for different projects in 2006. Look through our mail archive for their email addresses.
Have a look through our list of [[SummerOfCode][projects]] and choose one you like. Or if you have a great idea that is not listed, describe it in your application and we'll review it.
After that write an application. Here is a nice template from the perl project from 2005, which might help you. After you've written the application send it to an AbiWord developer/mentor (Martin, uwog, dom, Tomas or Hub) who review it for you and maybe make suggestions to improve the application. After that submit the application via the initial Google link given above.
