Subject: wv requirements?

I've been puzzleing over wv for a while now..
It seems to have fairly loose requirements, concerning additional
packages, in order to compile.
According to the docs that come with the package, you seem to need zlib,
libpng, freetype, ImageMagick and libwmf.
However, I have installed only zlib and libpng, and had wv compile.
Now that I have abiword working, I tried to load one of the sample
documents in the wv directory, and
abiword crashed rather quickly. This makes me wonder if I need to
install the rest of the
packages to make wv functional.
Which packages are required by wv in order to have abiword work
properly?
Do I need all of these other packages?
