For what it's worth, I downloaded Abiword from www.rpmfind.net as a rpm and
installed it that way. It's fast, simple and you don't have to know anything
about make, make install, or any of that stuff.
Just do 'rpm -i abisuite-0.7.6-1mdk.i586.rpm' and it's done.
