I'm fairly certain I've seen this bug before, but I unfortunately don't
have time to go looking for it right now. I presume you have the
required fonts for the scripts you'd like to view. You might want to
search http://bugzilla.abisource.com for something like "menu script" as
keywords, since I think it's been reported before you reported it.

If you find that bug, it would also be useful to test with 2.5.2.
(2.4.6 is the most recent stable version as of today)
