Building trouble

I'm trying to compile Abiword 2.4.1 on a Slackware 10.2,
which, as all know, has got no more Gnome. In spite
of the fact that I give  to "configure" the --disable-gnome
option, it requires me libgnomeprint and the building
fails. There is a way to solve this trouble?
