True enough that AbiWord displays and uses whatever fonts are
loaded in Windows. You can manage your fonts with a neat little utility
like "The Font Thing" available at
http://members.ozemail.com.au/~scef/tft.html
and it's FREE.

With it you can index all fonts on your computer, find out all there is
to know
about any font, and install or uninstall them in the system.
