I'd be inclined to agree, but the additional download time makes me
hesitant. I have never installed the GLIB plugins, but if we started
bundling it, it might make the non-glib plugins less accessible for
dialup users. If the installer could be configured to require
installing glib any time a glib plugin is selected (dependency-type
thing), that would probably be better. I thought that this is how it
was done currently, but the problems that have arisen lead me to presume
it is not.
