I was having various problems with the version of Abiword from Ximian so
I installed the latest Abiword I could find on Sourceforge. I have the
    following rpms installed now:

    abiword-fonts-1.0.3-1
    abispell-en-US-1.0-1
    abiword-1.1.3-1

And I have a couple problems:

    1. When I pull up the program and start typing I get the message "Could
not load the dictionary for en-US language." Spell checking of course
doesn't work after that. I'm set for en-US as my language and I checked
for dictionary files and found both
    /usr/share/AbiSuite-2.0/dictionary/american.hash
    /usr/share/AbiSuite/dictionary/american.hash
    are readable (chmod 664).

    2. When I try to print I get:
    Font dat file /usr/share/fonts/default/Type1/n-0210003l.pfbcannot [sic]
be opened." I found that file however and it is also world-readable.

    Thanks for any help,
    Brady
