Um, this would kinda mess up package management issues in many
distros... so if you DO do this I would suggest s configure option to
disable it.
But, in general I think this is not necessary:
1. If it had been documented at

I would have known
2. I asked around in the Debian support channel on IRC, none of them
knew. It was pointed out it was an the debian abiword page. My bad for
not looking there, but it's not clear on the abiword page that pspell
and ispell are two different compile-time options, or how aspell is
related to pspell.

Hmm, on the one hand it might be cool if it could decide at runtime
which to use... but then again what if a user wants to use pspell, but
his install of pspell gets fscked, he doesn't know it, and abiword
"falls back on ispell".... this is certainly gonna piss of those who
understand the innerworkings of ispell vs pspell vs. aspell... just a
thought.
