I know your courtesy, FJF, and I know that, sure, you have'nt possibility
to help me, because if it was, you would do.
But don't forget my first lines (precised here):
>> It was impossible to install AbiWord-1.1.0-2.tar.bz2 on my Mdk-9.0

In fact, every time, I installed AW with "tar.gz" which are not specific
for a vendor, and near a vendor for a version. In the past, never I had
difficulties other than problems caused by my low experience; it is only
in front of lack of possible install with tar.gz I tryed to use rpms and,
after, returned to AW-1.0.3.
My reproch is towards programmers: when they use a special lib not
too frequently used by us, why they do not create a "lib of libs" in what
to place the rare-libs, in order to avoid in the future problems like mine,
because=
-if I use tar.gz, I am blocked by "ldl"
-if I use rpms, I am stopped by "libcrypto", "libpng" and "libssl"....
But, have you any suggestion for that core file which appears JUST
AT the AW session end?
Have a good week end!
