ok, nice hint. so i tried to have AbiWord use
    /home/fgoossens/bin/mozilla/mozilla as browser by:
    * using .gnome/gnome-moz-remote to point to that wrapper-script
    * changing url-handler properties to point there as well
    * exporting the same value to environment-variable BROWSER

but i still get netscape 6.0, showing my homepage instead of the
help-pages. am i missing something obvious here?

    (some details:
    * performed the standard make/ make install, so no gnome-version i
suppose, no evidance of gnome when ldd'ing abiword_d, so..
    * i'm not using gnome as window manager/ desktop environment, but
GNUstep/ WindowMaker, but can't seem to find anything pointing to netscape
    in WM config either

    thanks in advance,
    frank
