prints only in 1/4 of page

Greetings. I am a newbie with abiword. I have it installed on Win ME. When I print the printed page takes up only 1/4 size of the page, and reduces the print size automatically. I checked the setup both in abiword and the printer and it is all set on 81/2 by 11 inches.

Can anyone advise what could be happening?
