I have the OS X version. I can get it running by clicking on the
XAbiWord.app icon and new or open. Is there a way to make it run
natively from X? I found .XAbiWord in the contents portion of the
.app. Made a Gnome launcher. When I click it (the launcher in Gnome),
it launches another instance in Darwin/OS X, and i have to leave X to
open document and go back to edit (this is fine in rootless but its
sssssssllllllllllllllooooooowwwwwwwwwww). Can I just make it run in X
    directly?

    Any insight would be appreciated.
