if the source is not freely avaible too then how free is it really?
I would personally appreciate if people did not advertise proprietary
software on this. If the software is worth paying for (and especially if
it is closed source) then they can afford to do their own advertising.
Hopefully one of the developers will integrate or make a plugin of the
previous piece of C code on of the other users so generously provided.
