If you're looking for WYSIWYG HTML editing, I suggest using mozilla
composer instead of AbiWord or Star/Open Office.
AbiWord's XHTML (XML Based HTML) importer is ok, but far from perfect.
It chokes on quite a few documents. Frank Franklin was working on a
libxml2 based HTML and XHTML importer, but that's highly experimental
right now. YMMV
If you're just looking to edit the HTML codes (<body>, <p>, etc...) open
the file as "Text" in the Open dialog.
