    Now I'm not sure if it runs on OSX, QNX, or BeOS, but I don't recall
    recent versions of Abiword running on those as well. :-P

    But you are correct in a sense about different markets. Lyx is not a
    word processor. It is a document preparer. It is WYSIWYM(ean) not WYSIWYG.

    For my master's thesis, I use Lyx. For a quick note or letter, I use Abi.
