Yes, I've checked, unchecked, saved, unchecked, checked, saved and
checked again, both from the View menu and in the Preferences. All
toolbars are checked. The trouble seemed to come about after I moved the
toolbar to be vertical on the left to save height. It was very erratic,
sometimes reappearing like that, sometimes at the top and sometimes not
at all. Usually a couple of reruns would make it come back. I even
reinstalled a couple of times, and read the config file, and can find no
reason whatever for it not showing. Most strange.

My gdict plugin is 20011215-2.i386, and I think was for 0.99.1, on which
it worked. Gdkpixbuf has the same number but does show in the plugins
list. I am on Mandrake 8.1. I do not have these gdict libraries so I'll
download them tomorrow and let you know how I get on.

Also thanks to Alan Horken for replying, but I have not yet figured how
to put more than one address in the CC box!
