Hi there abiword users,
I have installed abiword-1.0.2-SuSE.jeo.1.i386.rpm after confirming all
dependencies on a SuSE Linux v8.0 system running on a Pentium II-233
with 64MB physical and 110MB swap memory. Abiword 0.9 came with the SuSE
distribution and functioned fine. I removed it with RPM using KPackage
and installed version 1.0.2 fresh without an update.
When I execute the abiword-1.0.2 the splash screen appears and within
seconds the program abends with a Gnome windoid advising that AbiWord_d
has crashed due a segmentation fault. This occurs under both Gnome 1.4
and KDE 3.0.
I would very much appreciate someone telling me what I've done wrong and
how I can fix it.
