Actually, I've refined my question. I have at least one Word document
that demands a password in AbiWord. It may have been edited solely in
Word 97, or might have been partially edited in Word 2000. I have other
documents that load OK in AbiWord. The ones that don't load require a
password in XP + AbiWord. They don't in XP + Office97. BTW, I can
enter any of my known passwords but none of them are accepted.
