One of you was kind enough to explain to me that 'noarch' means no
architecture. This should mean that the file should install on any kind of
computer, or that is how I understood it.

I have downloaded the fonts file for Abiword version 0.99.5 which is a
'noarch' version. I cannot get it to install. I get the error that the
file is for a different architecture.

Can anyone help?
