You probably have to check your system printer configuration, or maybe
there is a mess of the old and new abiword installation? If so, do
uninstall firs, remove all abi files (Please, some one check if I'm
right!) and then make clean new installation.
But firs check out system printer configuration.
Hope this help for begining.
