    here is a recent copy of the english strings to get you started

    there are unix style po files available if you really want.

    be sure to ask on the developer list
    (please do not cross post to both lists)
    abiword-dev@abisource.com
    to make sure that no one else is working on the same language.

    I know there are other users/developers from India, and they may be
    working the same one of Indias many langauges as you.

    there used to a list of the current translations on this page but it is
    currently broken.
