Subject: Feature suggestion: RTF with .doc extension

Hello!
I would like an option to make RTF files, but with a .doc extention.
Many people are working in a M$ Word environment and for them it would
be good to save files as a Word file with a .doc extention. But Abi
cannot do this at the moment.
When people who are using M$ Word are opening a file, they mostly see
only .doc files, and not .rtf files, because of the extention-filter in
M$ Word.
It's irritating for an Abi-user to save the file as a RTF-file, and then
to rename the extention to .doc.
This is the same trick M$ used while migrating from Office95 to
Office97. Office97 did not write the Word95 format, it did only write
RTF with a .doc extention.
I would also like a "save default as..." option in the preferences, to
make Abi that it saves files by default as RTF file with .doc extention.
Many people could use this.
Regards,
Paul van der Vlis.
