any half decent answers, even the crap one i provided in this thread
should be posted to the list so that all may benifit.

im not the list admin, so its not me you have to convince
but this list already gets a totally ridiculous amount of
"please unsubscribe me" messages and god only knows how much spam gets
blocked by the administrators. (any == ridiculous, if you are able to
subscribe then equally so you should be able to unsubscribe)
if you are using MS Outlook or Netscape Mail it is not a huge effort
to press the Reply All button instead of just reply.

I use pine or mutt, where the difference between reply all and just reply
is a simple question to which i respond either with either the single
letter 'Y' or 'N'
i appreciate every last bit of extra speed and power i can get,
after many years i can finally say:
Dont fear the command line
