Im afraid that your responding to this on the list is even more
innappropriate and somewhat hypocritical, and if you feel strongly you
should take it up directly with me and whoever else offlist.
If you use uneccessary force in self defence then in many countries it is
most certainly is a crime.
The American government did not see fit to present evidence to the
Taliban, nor did they accept proposals for Osama Bin Laden to be handed
over to a neutral third party.
You may consider that appropriate care has been taken but others do not.
There are a lot of political decision that America makes that the rest of
the world has to live with like it or not. We have no votes in your
elections, we have no say in matters that affect us.
My sympathies go out to those who lost their lives in the tragic events of
September 11th especially the rescue workers.

I wonder who you would want to defend you if you or you family happened to be included in the next target in the terrorist campaing to kill as many Americans as they can? Or would you get it if the terrorist manage to get a nuclear explosive (which they have tried to do) and killed 700,000 instead of 7,000. Because they would surley do that if they could.
