I'm still downloading the source tarball for 0.9.5 (in the hope of
building Mandrake 8 ppc rpms), but I know how this worked in the
development versions. I assume it works in the release, but, as I say, I
haven't checked yet.
You need to create a template called normal.awt in the correct
directory. On Unix, this is ~/.AbiSuite/templates/ You might need to
create the directory first.
To create the template, open a blank document. Change the Normal style
(as above) to use the font you want. Make any other changes you want by
default, as well. Save this document as a template, using the Save As...
dialog, and call it normal.awt Put it in the correct directory.
I'm not sure whether you need to quit and relaunch Abi, or whether the
next doc you create will have the new font, but anyway, it's then fixed.
Note that this will not change the font in any old documents.
This will be documented once term has finished and I'm a little less
busy...
