Subject: Font problems

I have been using AbiWord at home on a Linux box. I now also want to use
it at work. However there I am using a Windows 2000 box which runx Xwin32 as
the X server, and connects to the main computer which is running solaris.
I have got a solaris version of AbiWord OK, but I have a problem with the
fonts. The Linux version of AbiWord has a font directory with fonts in afm/pfa
format, but the Xwin32 server (on the windows box) need them in bdf, pcf or
fon format.
Does anyone know how I can either
- convert from one format to the other
- get a ready-made set of AbiWord fonts in bdf, pcf or fon formt
- substitute some other set of fonts for AbiWord to use
(Any solution that involves system changes on the solaris box is impractical.)
Thanks
Geoffrey Watson
