Subject: Improvements?

I am using Abiword v0.7.10 in Win98.
I have found some minor errors and have some suggestions.
Spellchecking.
-------------
1. Starts at the begining of a document not at cursor position. So if one has
had to exit a long document half way through it means a total restart.
2. Even though 'ignore words with figures' is checked it does not discount
such things as 'c1640', 'R101', or 'C14'.
3. Would be more useful if the offending word in the text was highlighted
especially if the word is unique.
File load and save.
------------------
1. There is no indication of file loading in progress which is somewhat
disconcerting when one loads a 38 page document the first time. A progress
bar or percentage counter would be nice.
2. An hourglass on Save which would be handy also in this case.
Insert Symbols.
--------------
It would be useful to have the French and German accented letters which are
often needed in English. The English pound sign. The fractions 1/4, 1/2, and
3/4 would be useful although it is possible to do these, and many others, with
the Subscript and Superscript.
Otherwise keep up the good work.
Cheers, Brian.
