 I see the problem reports already, as it should be, but I want you
 to know that not all is problems. For me, AbiWord is one of the few
 programs that installs hassle-free out of the .tar file.

 And it is truly lovely to have an X application that handles
 dead-key accents correctly! Not to mention that the LaTeX export
 option will greatly increase the usefulness of the app!
