Two things to check:

Are you running the binary via the /usr/local/AbiSuite/bin/AbiSuite
wrapper script (which is where the symbolic links point) instead
of running the binary directly?

The GLIB warning seems harmless, appears on some computers I've run
the static binary on, but never seems to cause any problems. I think
it has to do with the way GLIB expects users to have their own groups.

If you've run a previous version of AbiWord, try removing (or renaming)
your ~/.AbiSuite directory. It's possible the UnixFontPath variable
is set to an old /home/ct/fonts path in an older config file.
