It's probably a stale library, sitting in /usr/lib. Because you have
your libraries in /usr, and not /usr/local, I'm guessing you didn't
build your own GTK libraries (from an RPM or some other package
format?). If so, you might not have received a new static library (.a)
when you grabbed a new GTK (say version 1.2.0). That means you might
still have an old static library (from the gtk-devel package) of like
1.1.something. Just a guess, but if the dynamic one runs alright,
it's probably not a huge concern.

About the fonts in general... I've done so much packaging and
repackaging and new script writing for the 0.7.0 releases in the
last few days that I honestly can't think of why the fonts as of 0.5.5
wouldn't work on any Unix box. I CAN think of why a very current
AbiWord release wouldn't find them easily. We changed the location it
looks for fonts, by default anyway (you can set an option in your
~/.AbiSuite/AbiWord.Profile), from /usr/local/AbiSuite/lib/fonts to
/usr/local/AbiSuite/fonts. If you have a new CVS snapshot, you've
probably got this problem. Do a "cvs co unixfonts" and install from
that tree to get the updated install script.

If you're still having problems with fonts, please reply to the list
and I'll dig around in old snapshots. We've really moved the tree
around a lot lately.
