Mac OS Port

I'm new the mailing list. What is the current status of the Mac OS
port? I notice that there is hardly any info in the archives, aside
from a note that the beginnings of Mac OS framework were contributed.
Is anyone heading a Mac port? I would be interested in working on a Mac
port of AbiWord, so if I could get some information on what needs to be
done, I would be happy to try to help. Thanks.
