Hi,
I red with interest your wiki pages about WikiCollab. I understood that
you have troubles with correctness of synchronization and undo features.
We are a research team working on these topics for 4 years now and we
published
some algorithms for maintaining consistency of shared linear structures.
We are currently building peer-to-peer collaborative editors and we
published a paper
on that topic on CSCW06.
It seems that you don't know the Operational Transformation approach for
building cooperative editor.
You must know that this approach has been used for building CoWord, a
collaborative version of
Microsoft word.
We think that we have currently adequate algorithms to build a better
product than CoWord, and you have
a great editor and you seem ready to build a collaborative version of
this editor.
Maybe we can collaborate and help you to solve correctness problems.
Please let me know if you are interested...
