Hi, I am crossing my fingers in hope gmail does not screw up this
mailing list thread o_o (anyone used it for mailing lists without
messing things up? I'm curious to know)

Here are my replies:
- there is no evil frames, only divs. If you have seen something with
scrollbars, well.. I changed that a little this morning to include
less things in the menu, so it should display correctly even at
800x600
- the pages are already server side you know?
- I wanted to ask if we needed to keep this "a page is a folder"
structure. Well that's because I don't know how you did it. A
workaround we could use is apache's mod rewrite engine (I don't how to
use it myself though)
- this brings me to the problem: some people expressed concern of
internationalizing (is that a word?) the website. It would be pretty
cool to have abisource automatically translated, I have seen this done
with http://audacity.sf.net which was, to my surprise, translated in
french automatically on one of my computers.
- I agree that I might have overdone that "splash image" on the front
page, I just wanted to put something there ;) the version number on it
is not so accurate either...
- if you have not seen the design notes, I have put some of my
arguments there (html sizes shrinking by sometimes 67%, among others)
but I removed the link in the menu this morning. So it can be accessed
directly here:

Lastly, John : well the page currently has a printer friendly mode,
did you check it out? Is there something missing from it? It can be
accessed through the menu anytime.

I'm not sure what your css code (although I am open to integrate it if
it's better) does different?
