Hi Dom,
I am not so much concerned about any particular patch, if you think this
patch is safe to go in, then let it be. I am concerned that we are not
keeping an eye on the ball (especially as various comments made on the
IRC suggest that not everyone understands why feature freeze is a
necessary part of the development cycle), and if this particular patch
is committed, I do not want that to be interpreted as an open season for
new features.
