    Cursor: GTK was issuing critical warnings sometimes with selections if
    you passed a negative value to copy_under. Yuck.

    Spelling: some cleanup. I still have issues with spelling:

    1) Spellcheck whole document, selection onscreen doesn't just cover 1
    word, covers *all* words upto and including misspelled word
    2) Selection not cleared after whole-doc spellcheck
    3) Spellcheck doesn't spellcheck words in tables
    4) Spellcheck might very well segfault if you have a table in your
    document, especially if it is in-between misspelled words
