Can I just second this from a user's point of view? I can read faster than
the current build of Abi can do a spell check on a perfectly spelled
document, and I'm running it under LinuxPPC on a 400MHz G3, which is hardly
a slow machine. Anything that involves screen redraw is slow to the point
of being annoying.
At the moment, I think the program is slow enough that it will lose us
users. They'll go back to something zippy, like Word.
